Game Product Designer (Product Management)
ABOUT US
Spinomenal is a fast-growing content provider in the online casino industry, driven by creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
We develop visually rich and engaging games enjoyed by players worldwide, combining high-quality art, animation, and technology to deliver compelling gaming experiences.
About the position
We’re looking for a Game Product Designer to join our Product department, and own the execution of slots games from product direction to live release.
While Product leadership defines the concept and theme, you will be responsible for translating that vision into detailed functional specs and mechanics.
You’ll ensure perfect alignment with the mathematical model and collaborate closely with Art and R&D teams to drive a high-quality, tightly polished player experience.
Responsibilities
- Turn product direction into clear, build-ready specs (flows, UI states, triggers, transitions, edge cases)
- Define the full game experience: base game, bonuses, feature logic, and player-facing communication
- Ensure mechanical clarity and consistency throughout production and prevent feature drift
- Partner with the mathematician to translate RTP and volatility into the intended “feel” (rhythm, tension, reward perception)
- Review builds and delivers precise feedback on pacing, timing, readability, winning presentation, and feature clarity
- Drive polish across animation, sound, and interaction so everything serves the mechanic (not distracts from it)
- Collaborate daily with PMs, engineers, artists, UI, math, sound, and QA; document decisions and unblock teams fast
- Balance player psychology and business outcomes, supporting KPIs while staying true to the mechanic’s risk/reward profile
- Ensure technical feasibility and regulatory readiness across markets
- Define acceptance criteria, support QA triage, validate fixes, and provide final design sign-off before release
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience as a Game Product Manager or Game Product Designer - a Must!
- Extensive experience designing slot games within the gambling industry, with hands-on execution and end-to-end ownership, or experience designing casual games.
- Strong ability to work with math teams and understand how RTP/volatility shapes player experience
- Experience in a structured game production pipeline (Agile is a plus)
- Close attention to detail across UX, visuals, timing, animation, and sound
- Business awareness (performance goals, bet structure, profitability tradeoffs)
- Strong cross-functional communication and ability to drive progress across multiple teams
Nice to Have:
- Experience with multi-market compliance and regulated casino environments - an advantage
- Familiarity with Jira/Confluence (or similar) and strong spec - writing discipline
- Experience supporting live production pipelines and release processes
