Compliance Specialist
ABOUT US
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Compliance Team at Spinomenal. This role is ideal for a licensed advocate or paralegal with a strong legal background and a hands-on, can-do approach. The Compliance Specialist will not only handle legal and regulatory documentation but also act as a strategic connector, facilitating effective collaboration across internal departments such as Project Management, Program, Product, and Operations.
Responsibilities
Regulatory and Legal Operations
- Support licensing processes, including applications, renewals, and regulatory communications.
- Draft, review, and complete various legal and compliance documents, forms, and questionnaires with precision.
- Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of game certification processes, including coordination with third-party test labs.
- Maintain accurate records of regulatory obligations and company responses.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between the Compliance Team and internal departments to ensure regulatory requirements are understood and fulfilled.
- Track cross-departmental dependencies related to compliance (e.g., product adjustments for new markets, project timelines, etc.).
- “Connect the dots” to provide a comprehensive compliance overview for projects involving multiple teams.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Assist in implementing compliance procedures and controls.
- Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
- Prepare clear reports, summaries, and updates for senior management.
Hands-On Execution
- Manage administrative and operational compliance tasks with high attention to detail.
- Ensure timely submission of forms, reports, and certifications to authorities or partners.
- Coordinate with external advisors or regulators where needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in legal, compliance, and/or regulatory affairs (iGaming preferred).
- Excellent written and spoken English (mandatory).
- Ability to switch between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in team settings.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative team player approach.
