Spinomenal is a leading game content provider in the iGaming industry, developing high-quality games, innovative mechanics, and immersive player experiences across multiple markets.

With 11 years of expertise and a multidisciplinary studio, we are now seeking an experienced Studio Design Manager to lead the design execution engine of Spinomenal’s game studio. 

This role owns execution quality, team leadership, workflows, and delivery predictability across multiple design disciplines, including Game Design, Sound Design, Marketing Graphic Design, and UX/UI. The focus of the role is scaling quality through structure, standards, and strong people leadership

The Studio Design Manager works in close collaboration with Product and the Game Design Principal, translating creative benchmarks and product priorities into reliable, high-quality execution across the game portfolio. 

This is a senior studio leadership role with real ownership and accountability. 

Responsibilities

Design Execution & Quality Ownership 

  • Own execution quality across all studio design outputs, ensuring consistency, clarity, and reliability. 
  • Ensure delivered work meets the quality bar and requirements defined by Product. 
  • Translate creative benchmarks and product intent into clear execution standards and guidelines. 
  • Review design outputs to ensure alignment with studio standards and delivery expectations. 
  • Drive predictable delivery across multiple concurrent games and tiers. 

Team Management & Leadership 

  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary design teams, including Game Design, Sound Design, Marketing Graphic Design, and UX/UI. 
  • Manage team leads and support their growth as leaders. 
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, feedback cycles, and performance evaluations. 
  • Foster accountability, ownership, and professional development within the teams. 
  • Build a healthy execution culture focused on clarity, responsibility, and continuous improvement.  

Planning, Capacity & Workflow Ownership 

  • Own capacity planning, resource allocation, and workload balancing across the studio. 
  • Clearly communicate execution trade-offs, risks, and constraints to Product and leadership. 
  • Define, document, and improve studio workflows, pipelines, and production processes. 
  • Improve efficiency, predictability, and delivery discipline without compromising quality. 
  • Ensure proper documentation, handovers, and operational standards across teams.

Cross-Department Collaboration 

  • Work closely with Product to align execution with priorities, scope, and delivery expectations. 
  • Partner with Game Development and QA leadership to support smooth end-to-end delivery. 
  • Collaborate with Project Management to improve timelines, dependencies, and execution metrics. 
  • Surface execution risks early and propose clear, actionable solutions. 
  • Act as the studio execution authority in cross-functional discussions. 


 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in design leadership, studio management, or similar roles in the gaming industry. 
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary design teams. 
  • Strong understanding of game production pipelines and design workflows. 
  • Demonstrated ability to scale quality through structure and standards. 
  • Experience balancing quality, speed, and delivery constraints. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to make clear execution decisions without ego or overreach. 


Advantages

  • Experience in iGaming or high-volume content production environments. 
  • Experience working in fast-paced or live-production studios. 
  • Familiarity with sound design pipelines and UI/UX implementation. 
  • Experience collaborating with senior Product leadership and principal-level designers. 
  • Exposure to AI-based tools or modern production pipelines.
