Spinomenal is now seeking a new IT System Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure and system architecture, delivering professional, scalable, and high-quality solutions for complex challenges.
- Continuously assess and improve existing infrastructure technologies to ensure relevancy, security, and effectiveness, while building future technology roadmaps.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for both simple and complex issues across the organization.
- Plan, lead, and implement IT projects, including rollouts, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades, collaborating with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security, Compliance).
- Embed security best practices into infrastructure designs, including Zero Trust, IAM, encryption standards, and regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Oversee and optimize the network environment to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
- Act as administrator for Google Workspace, Jamf, Intune, HEXNODE, and MS365 Management and Apps, ensuring seamless operation and integration.
- Familiarity with AWS services, including:
○ EC2 (instances management, security groups, scaling)
○ S3 (secure storage, lifecycle policies, backup/restore)
○ VPC (subnets, routing, NAT gateways, VPN connectivity)
○ IAM (users, roles, policies, MFA enforcement)
○ CloudWatch & CloudTrail (monitoring, alerting, auditing)
- Configure, install, and maintain office IT equipment (laptops, printers, monitors, conference room systems, and peripherals), including IT asset management.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of proven experience as an IT Specialist / System Administrator, with strong expertise in Information Security.
- Extensive experience with network protocols and configurations: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN (IPSec, SSL), and enterprise Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
- Hands-on experience with MacOS and Windows 10/11 client environments.
- Strong background in MDM solutions: Jamf, Intune, HEXNODE.
- Extensive scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, and Python for automation and system management.
- Advanced expertise with MS365 administration and applications (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure AD).
- Familiarity with Zero Trust solutions such as ZScaler.
- Experience with Information Security tools:
○ NAC: Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass
○ XDR/EDR: ESET, CrowdStrike Falcon, Sophos
- Strong knowledge of authentication protocols: OAuth 2.0, SAML, SSO, OpenID Connect, Kerberos, LDAP, RADIUS.
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks: ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR.
- Proficiency with collaboration tools: Google Workspace, Jira, Slack.
- Proficiency in English – must.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and service-oriented mindset.
