Major content provider, Spinomenal, announced today it has completed the process of complying a series of its games with the German transitional regime.
German online casino market is valued at €2.2bn (as of 2019) and expected to grow towards €3.3bn by 2024, as Sports betting and Online casino experienced the highest growth rates and market share among all other categories (Igamingbusiness.com).

 
The decision about the new federal gambling treaty was made back in March, when German legislator decided to approve gambling regulations to legalize Online poker and casino starting from 1st of July 2021. A transitional regime period has been agreed as well, so that starting effectively from October 15th, 2020 until July 1st, 2021, the date on which the permanent regime is expected to enter, operators and content providers, will be able to adjust their games and brands accordingly.
Amongst the adjustments that need to be done: setting an Average of 5 seconds spin, Removing the Auto-play function, Maximum stake will be set as a maximum of €1, Average RTP% and win probability must be displayed during a game, Games must be translated to the German language and more.
